A memorandum on mutual cooperation was signed between the Institute of Botany of ANAS and the Society of Botanical Gardens under the Denver Botanical Garden of the USA.

According to the memorandum, it is planned to organize joint projects on the study of the wild flora of Azerbaijan, conduct joint research, exchange information, herbarium, seeds etc. There will be a personnel exchange of experience in joint research work in the framework of cooperation.
