The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed a decree on awarding the "Progress" medal to educators who distinguished themselves by their special achievements in the field of subject Olympiads and student training.

According to the order, the Head of the Systematics and Geography of Higher Plants Laboratory of the Institute of Botany, distinguished by his special achievements in conducting international and republican science Olympiads and in the field of student training, associate professor, Ph.D in biology, Rashad Salimov was awarded with the "Progress" medal.
