Representatives of Turkey's Ege University Faculty of Agriculture Prof. Dr. Harun Yalçın, Prof. Dr. Arif Behich Tekin and Prof. Dr.  Aykut Güvensen visited the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the meeting held with the participation of the General Director  of the Institute of Botany,doctor of biological sciences, Professor Sayyare Ibadullayeva, Executive Director, doctor of biological sciences, Shakir Gasimov, Head of the Systematics and Biodiversity Department,doctor of biological sciences,  Aydin Askerov and Head of the Geobotany Department, doctor of biological sciences Naibe Mehdiyeva, the parties discussed the establishment of scientific cooperation relations, conducting joint research on the study of biodiversity in Azerbaijan, useful medicine , discussed a number of issues related to the use of essential, technical, fodder plants and the organization of joint projects.

Appreciating the cooperation prospects of the institute, the guests emphasized that there are opportunities for establishing scientific relations in the future.
