A joint meeting of departments such as “Systematics and biodiversity”, “Plant resources”, “Ethnobotany”, “Herbarium”, “Geobotany”, “Biomorphology and phytointroduction”, laboratories such as “Algology and lichenobryology” and “Systematics and geography of higher plants” was held on the preliminary discussion of the dissertation works of the II-year master's students studying “Botany” specialization at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The participants got acquainted with the dissertation work of IlyasovaRemaTeymurgizi, a master student of the “Algology and Lichenobryology” laboratory, and GaniyevaNazilaArzumangizi, a master student of the “Ethnobotany” department. In the end, the dissertation works were approved and at the initial stage it was allowed to be submitted to the Specialized Defense Council for the main defense.
