Among the foreign guests who came to participate in the international scientific-practical conference on “Modern approaches in the study of the plant kingdom” held at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan was the senior researcher of the Department of Mycology of the M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany, NAS of Ukraine, doctor of biological sciences, prof. Nina Bisco.
During the meeting with the General Director of the Institute of Botany, professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, the guest was informed about the research directions of the Institute of Botany, international relations, implemented projects and the prospects of establishing cooperation relations were also discussed.

N. Bisco appreciated the organization of the event and expressed her gratitude for the invitation. She emphasized that the international conference will make significant contributions to the study of biological diversity.

During the visit, a memorandum on cooperation was signed between the Institute of Botany, MSE RA and M.G. Kholodny Institute of Botany, NAS of Ukraine. According to the memorandum, it is planned to organize joint projects on the research, collection, reproduction, protection of plant resources, conduct joint research, exchange experience of personnel, hold meetings, lectures, symposiums, etc.
