Associate Professor Elman Yusifov, leading researcher of the Ethnobotany Department of the Institute of Botany, MSE RA, and Ismayil Jafarli, a specialist of the International Relations Department, participated in the international training courses held in Kunming, Yunnan Province of the People's Republic of China.

The training is devoted to the conservation and utilization of severely reduced plant populations. The courses are devoted to the principles of effective protection of severely reduced plant populations, endangered trees and shrubs, seed collection technologies of rare species, rapid propagation of endangered species through tissue cultures, and other relevant topics.

In the end, both specialists were awarded international certificates.
