Two scientific works of the scientists of the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan were published as separate chapters in the large-volume book “Ethnic Knowledge and Perspectives of Medicinal Plants” published by “Apple Academic Press” in 2023. The scientific editors of the book are well-known scientists - Munir Ozturk, Kandikre Ramaiah Sridhar, Maryam Sarwat, Volkan Altay, Francisco Martín Huerta-Martínez.

The book mainly deals with researches devoted to the ethnic use of wild medicinal and food plants in the flora of the Karabakh region.

The book chapter “Traditional Herbal Treatments in Karabakh-Azerbaijan” (volume I, pp. 79-141) was compiled with the co-authorship of Dr., professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, PhD Aytan Asgarova, Asmar Huseynova, PhD Afig Mammadov and academician Irada Huseynova and the book chapter “Nutritional Herbs from Karabakh, Azerbaijan” (volume II, 70-101) with the co-authorship of Dr., professor Eldar Novruzov, Dr. Latafat Mustafayeva, PhD Aydan Zeynalova.
