The inter-departmental expanded initial discussion of the dissertation of Elgun Mustafabeyli, PhD student of the Department of Mycology and primitive plants was heard on "Species diversity and bioecological characteristics of pileated fungus found in Sheki district of the Republic of Azerbaijan" in the specialty 2430.01 –"Mycology" at the Institute of Botany, MSE RA.

In his speech, Elgun Mustafabayli gave detailed information about 155 taxa collected from the area, their taxonomic structure, ecological groups, distribution according to height and season. He spoke about edible and poisonous mushrooms, their importance, species included in the III edition of the "Red Book".
