IV year students of the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University (BSU) began their internship at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education.

 

BSU students, accompanied by institute specialists, get acquainted with research work and modern equipment carried out in the departments and laboratories of the institute, and acquire theoretical and practical knowledge. They are trained in new methods of preparation and conservation of herbariums, extraction of biologically active substances from plants, as well as ethnobotany and phytointroduction.

The internship period will last until March 16.
