On April 3, discussion of the dissertation work of Elgun Mustafabayli, a researcher of the Department of Mycology and Primitive Plants of the Institute of Botany, to receive a Ph.D. degree in biology in the 2430.01 –“Mycology” specialty was held at the scientific seminar of the FD 1.07 Dissertation Council operating under the Institute of Microbiology. The scientific supervisor of the dissertation work presented on the topic “Species diversity and bioecological characteristics of pileated fungi found in Sheki district of the Republic of Azerbaijan” is Doctor of Biological Sciences Dilzara Aghayeva, head of the Mycology and Primitive Plants Department of the Institute of Botany. E. Mustafabayli explained the main provisions of the dissertation in detail and extensive discussions were held on the topic. The members of the council expressed their proposals to the plaintiff and noted the modernity, relevance, scientific and practical importance of the topic. Based on the voting results, it was decided to submit Elgun Mustafabeyli’s dissertation for the main defense.
