Employees of the Institute of Botany, PhDs in biology Nuri Movsumova, Nigar Mursal gizi and Yusif Zeynalov participated in the “Plant Health Forum: Towards a Green World” organized jointly by the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Agriculture.

The purpose of the forum is to protect plant and plant products from harmful organisms, strengthen plant health through existing pest control and their management, expand the production and safe trade of plant and plant products, and to provide a collaborative platform for national plant health agencies, regional and international organizations, government agencies, universities and reference laboratories to protect global food security and biodiversity.
