Today, an event dedicated to “September 27 - Memorial Day” was held at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education.

Before the event, the Institute’s staff visited the Second Alley of Martyrs, honored the blessed memory of heroic sons of the Motherland who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid flowers at their graves.

The event began with the performance of our National Anthem and a minute of silence in memory of our martyrs.

At the event, the General Director of the Institute, professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva spoke about the magnificent historical victory of our people in 44 days as a result of the leadership, strong will, visionary strategy, successful foreign and domestic policy of Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

Participants of the event noted that the Victory in the Second Karabakh War was a brilliant victory, a moral event, the restoration of national pride and national dignity.
