PhDs Nuri Movsumova and Nigar Mursalgizi, employees of the Institute of Botany, MSE RA participated as experts in the international event. The event was dedicated to the results of the analysis of the Ecoregional Protection Plan (ECP 2020) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) document for the Caucasus from the perspective of biodiversity and climate change. At the event, the actual issue arising from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Convention on Biological Diversity - to study the interaction between biodiversity and climate changes in the South Caucasus region, an activity to update the Nationally Determined Contributions document to describe its importance at the global level, an overview of the results of the analyzes carried out on this document and a discussion of the general results of the analyzes on the Ecoregional Protection Plan document.
