The leading researcher of the Department of Biomorphology and Phytointroduction, associate professor Jeyran Najafova participated in the event organized in Shirvan National Park at the invitation of the German Embassy. The event was held on the occasion of the launch of gazelle monitoring station in Shirvan National Park. The event was attended by Deputy Ambassador of Germany Heiko Schwarz, project leader Harmut Müller, Rashad Allahverdiyev, deputy head of the Biological Diversity Protection Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, researchers and students took part in the event. First, the guests were informed about the park and the ecotourism center created here. It was emphasized that since the relations between Germany and Azerbaijan are developing on an upward line, numerous projects have been implemented by the embassy. The newly built gazelle observation station is also part of this project. Now it will be possible to watch the gazelles more closely from that observation point.
