On October 11, 2024, in order to obtain PhD degree on biology in the 2417.01 -“Botany” speciality, the discussion of the dissertation on “Flora, vegetation and palynology of some species of mud volcanoes of Shamakhi-Gobustan region” presented by Shabnam Isayeva Gadir gizi, PhD student of the Institute of Botany, MSE RA was held at the meeting of the scientific seminar established within the ED 1.26 Dissertation Council at the Institute of Botany, MSE RA. The scientific supervisor of the presented dissertation is Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Shakir Gasimov. Isayeva explained the main provisions of her dissertation in detail and extensive discussions were held on the topic. The members of the council expressed their proposals to the clainmant and noted the modernity, relevance, scientific and practical importance of the topic. Based on the results of the vote, a decision was made to release Isaeva’s dissertation for the main defense.
