The reporting sessions on the results of the scientific and organizational activities of the departments and laboratories operating at the Institute of Botany MSERA, in 2024 have ended. The meetings, chaired by professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, chairman of the Scientific Council, general director of the Institute of Botany, were attended by members of the Council, heads of departments and laboratories, and employees of the Institute. Professor S. Ibadullayeva noted the special importance of holding reporting meetings in terms of more efficient organization of the work of departments and laboratories and strengthening scientific activity.

It was noted that in the reporting year, scientific research work was carried out on 60 stages of 15 works covering 9 topics within the framework of 2 problems in accordance with the thematic plan of the Institute of Botany, and 108 articles and conference materials related to the topics, 4 books, and 1 book chapter were published. Department and laboratory heads delivered reports and provided extensive information on the work carried out in the current year, scientific results, published scientific works, participation in conferences and seminars, foreign trips, expeditions, scientific missions, training of scientific personnel, etc.

In general, 10 important results of the Institute of Botany for 2024 were presented.

The members of the scientific council considered the reports acceptable and emphasized the importance of publishing important scientific results in prestigious world publications in the coming year. Professor S. Ibadullayeva gave certain instructions and recommendations on the planned scientific work, especially on the preparation of projects for monitoring and restoration in Karabakh.
