On November 23-24, employees of the Institute of Botany, MSERA, associate professor Aladdin Gadimov, Gulnara Babayeva, Gulnar Sultanova, Sevil Dadashova, Sadagat Rasulova, and scientific employee Fidan Alaskarova participated in the training within the framework of the project “Assessment of the carbon capture potential of Tugay forests, restoration of the forest ecosystem” presented by the "Regional Development" Public Association (RDPA).
In the training organized at Baku State University, local and international experts provided theoretical and practical training on assessing the carbon capture potential of forests, and answered questions of interest to the participants.
At the end, the participants were awarded certificates.
It should be noted that the submitted project is being implemented within the framework of the "COP29-related International Initiatives" competition for NGOs, jointly organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations.
