A group of scientists from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan visited the Institute of Botany MSE RA to discuss cooperation opportunities.

At the meeting, which was attended by the Institute's management, heads of departments and laboratories, as well as a team of scientists and specialists, the guests were provided with detailed information about the Institute's research areas, international relations and achievements. The guests were introduced to the Museum of Botany, Herbarium Fund, and laboratories.

The rich herbarium specimens of local and foreign flora stored in the herbarium fund, their storage conditions, and the work of digitizing them have attracted the interest of foreign experts. Scientists emphasized that there are broad opportunities for cooperation here in terms of mutual exchange of personnel and experience, exchange of herbarium materials, and organization of joint projects and expeditions.
