Today, an event dedicated to February 2 Youth Day was held at the Institute of Botany, MSERA. The event was opened by the General Director of the Institute, Dr., Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, who congratulated the young people on the occasion of February 2nd Youth Day. The scientist noted that the youth policy, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, is being successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev. State programs related to Azerbaijani youth, the youth development strategy, as well as various state programs related to education abroad, are being adopted and successfully implemented.

S. Ibadullayeva emphasized that our educated youth also play an important role in conveying to the world the realities of Azerbaijan, our position on the liberation of our lands and the restoration of our sovereignty. She noted that the Institute has consistently supported the involvement of young people in science and their participation in international conferences, scientific missions and expeditions, as well as the publication of their articles in scientific journals.

Chair of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Aydan Husuyeva, spoke about the attention and care shown to young people, expressed her gratitude to the Institute's leadership on behalf of the council members, congratulated the young people and wished them new scientific achievements. Later, on the occasion of Youth Day, a group of young people selected for their active participation in the scientific and social life of the Institute of Botany were awarded diplomas and certificates.
