An event was held at the Institute of Botany, MSERA on the occasion of March 8 - International Women’s Day.

The event was opened by the General Director of the Institute, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, who congratulated the female employees of the Institute on this significant day. The professor spoke about the role of women in society and the achievements of Azerbaijani women in the socio-political and scientific fields.

The event celebrated the 70th anniversary of Ayna Abdullayeva, an employee of the Department of Geobotany. S. Ibadullayeva congratulated the jubilee on behalf of the team and wished her good health and success.

Finally, the Institute’s United Trade Union Committee presented gift cards to female employees on the occasion of International Women's Day, March 8.
