16.04.2025

Within the framework of the “Ethnobotany Project”, coordinated by biology teacher Ayşe Ilerin, an open lesson was organized for 10th grade secondary school students in order to increase their interest in biology. The schoolchildren were provided with detailed information by the Institute's specialists about the natural distribution areas, importance, and conservation problems of endemic, rare, and medicinal plants of the Azerbaijani flora, including primitive plants. The specimens stored in the Herbarium Fund and the exhibits displayed in the Museum of Botany aroused great interest among schoolchildren.
