A one-day trip to Shamakhi was organized by the United Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Botany, MSERA for the employees of the Institute. During the trip, organized under the leadership of the committee chairwoman, Shakar Mukhtarova, the Institute staff visited the Diri Baba tomb, the Pirsaat Baba sanctuary-mosque complex, and Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N.Tusi. The employees also took excursions and played various fun games in the open air.

The trip ended with a dinner party.
