The next meeting of the Scientific Council was held at the Institute of Botany, MSERA. The meeting, which was chaired by the chairman of the Scientific Council, General Director of the Institute, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, was attended by members of the Council, heads of departments and laboratories, and employees of the Institute.

At the meeting, professor S.Ibadullayeva congratulated the leading researcher of the Experimental Botany Department of the Institute of Botany, MSRA doctor of biological sciences, associate professor Rana Ganiyeva on her 80th birthday and the senior researcher of the Plant Resources Department, doctor of biological sciences Latafat Mustafayeva on her 70th birthday, wishing them long life and good health.

Subsequently, reports on the scientific activities of departments and laboratories for the first half of 2025 were presented. The information covered the work carried out during the current year, scientific results, published works, expeditions, business trips, training of scientific personnel, and related activities and etc.

In the end, the reports were approved as acceptable. Professor S. Ibadullayeva provided specific recommendations regarding the scientific work planned for the next half-year.

The meeting ended with a discussion of other issues on the agenda.
