An event dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day was held at the Institute of Botany PLE of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event was attended by the institute’s management, heads of departments and laboratories, as well as young scientists and specialists.

Opening the event, acting director of the Institute, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva congratulated the female staff on the occasion of this significant day and wished them good health and success in their work. She particularly emphasized the important role of female employees in the activities of the Institute and highlighted their scientific achievements.

Speeches were delivered by Doctor of Biological Sciences Professor Aydın Askerov, PhD holders in Biology Aygun Mammadova, Sadig Garayev, and Nigar Mursal.

At the end of the event, a number of female employees were awarded certificates of appreciation for their active participation in the Institute’s organizational activities and their work discipline.
