Professor Dilzara Aghayeva, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Head of the Mycology Laboratory at the Institute of Botany PLE under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a speech at a scientific seminar dedicated to the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture,” held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.

The seminar was attended by the faculty administration, academic staff, and students. The event was opened by Vice-Dean Associate Professor Basti Asadova, who emphasized the relevance of the topic and highlighted the importance of ongoing scientific discussions in this field.

Professor Aghayeva delivered a presentation titled “Mycological Research in Azerbaijan: Evidence, Gaps, and Priorities,” providing detailed insights into current studies in the field of mycology in the country, existing challenges, and future directions.

The scientific findings and information presented by Professor Aghayeva were met with great interest by the participants. The presentation was followed by a Q&A session and discussions on current scientific issues.

 At the end of the seminar, the Dean of the Faculty, Associate Professor Reyhan Aghayeva, expressed her gratitude to Professor Dilzara Aghayeva and the participants, noting that such seminars make a significant contribution to the faculty’s academic and educational activities.
