In accordance with the scientific research plan, staff members of the Landscape Architecture and Acclimatization Laboratory of the Institute of Botany PLE under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized an expedition to the No. 5 Regional Forestry Center in the Guba district.

Within the framework of the expedition, observations were carried out in forest areas and in sites around Vladimirovka village where seedling collection was being conducted. As a result of the research, tree seeds belonging to 2 families, 3 genera, and 3 species were collected. In addition, seedlings of trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants belonging to 14 families, 26 genera, and 30 species were introduced to the conditions of the Absheron region.

The collected seeds and seedlings were transported to the Saray Regional Experimental Station of the Institute of Botany PLE. There, open-field plots were prepared, the soil was cultivated and enriched with organic fertilizers, seeds were sown, and various plant seedlings were planted.

The planted specimens were labeled, numbered, and irrigated. Currently, scientific research on the introduced plants is ongoing at the Saray Regional Experimental Station.
