An educational seminar was held at the Institute of Botany PLE in connection with “Human Rights Month.”

The seminar was opened by Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, Acting Director of the Institute of Botany PLE, who provided information about the significance and objectives of the event. She noted that strengthening the principles of the rule of law and improving citizens’ welfare are among the priority directions of the state policy implemented in Azerbaijan.

As part of the seminar, the Institute of Botany PLE’s legal adviser, Firuza Hasanli, delivered a presentation on “Employees’ Rights and Employers’ Responsibilities.” She provided detailed information on the legal foundations of labor relations, employees’ rights, employers’ obligations, and the legal mechanisms established under labor legislation.

Subsequently, invited legal adviser Bahlul Abdullazade delivered a presentation entitled “Employees’ Right to Leave and the Guarantees Provided to Them.” The presentation covered the regulation of leave entitlements under labor legislation, social guarantees, employees’ right to rest, and the legal norms applied in this area.

During the event, participants’ questions were answered, and an exchange of views was held on issues related to labor rights.
