The Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov met with a group of youth organizations operating in our country. During the meeting the young people spoke about the activities of their organizations, the projects implemented, the challenges they face, and future plans. The event was also attended by Elmir Babayev, Chairman of Young Scientists and Specialistsof ANAS. He spoke about the history of the council and its activities. Elmir Babayev said that the council operates on the basis of the State Program “Azerbaijani Youth 2017-2021” signed by President Ilham Aliyev, as well as other decrees and orders of the President, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, also charter of ANAS, the decisions of the Presidium and charter of council. Noting that comprehensive measures have been taken at ANAS to increase the weight of intellectual youth in the public, social and cultural life of the country, the chairman said that the reforms carried out at the Academy opened wide opportunities for the integration of young scientists into world science. The Chairman of the Council spoke about the projects implemented jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Council of Young Scientists and specialists. He stressed great support by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the organization of international forums and conferences in Azerbaijan with the participation of young scientists from many countries and in meeting the costs of participation of ANAS youth in trainings, conferences and symposiums in international scientific centers. Noting that ANAS’s young scientists are among the young people awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports on February 2, Youth Day’’ Babayev noted proposals for new projects to be implemented jointly with the Ministry in the future. Speaking at the event, the leaders of young organizations thanked Minister Fuad Gayibov for interesting and cordial meeting.
