On November 19, 2021, Dokuz Eylul University of Turkey (DEU) and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences jointly organized a bilateral international online scientific seminar covering 5 fields (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science). The materials were published and distributed online.

DEU appealed to ANAS to hold the 2nd international scientific seminar in a wider format in 2022, and in this regard, the vice-president of ANAS, academician Irada Huseynova with the dean of the faculty of the university, professor Aylin Alin online through the program "Zoom" meeting was held.

The meeting was attended by professors of the Faculty of Science of DEU Levent Chavash and Aylin Altinishik from the Turkish side, and the scientific secretary and chief specialist of the vice-presidential service from the Azerbaijani side.

Academician Irada Huseynova and Professor Aylin Alin, Professor Levent Chavash, as well as other participants spoke about the unshakable friendly and fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan, the success of the international seminar in 2021, the prospects for scientific relations between the university and ANAS.

As a result of comprehensive discussions, the 2nd international seminar will be held in November 2022 in hybrid form and in parallel sessions, further expansion of scientific directions and geography of participants, formation of scientific and technical organizing committees as soon as possible, creation of an improved website, etc. Important decisions have been made on the issues.
