Report-election meeting of the United Trade Union Committee of Scientific Organizations of Institute of Botany, MSE RA was held

On March 14, 2024, a report-election meeting of the United Trade Union Committee of Scientific Organizations of Institute of Botany, MSE RA was held.

Opening the event with an introductory speech, professor Shakir Gasimov, Executive Director of the Institute gave information about the issues on the agenda.

Then the report by PhD in biology, associate professor Shakar Mukhtarova, the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute on the activities of 2017-2023 was heard.

She gave broad information about the spending of the amount collected from the salaries of the employees of the Institute, vouchers used by employees and the amount of financial assistance provided to them, tickets for “Novruz holiday” and “New Year” parties, as well as theaters, given to employees every year, food allowances allocated to employees in connection with holidays, at the same time, the funds transferred to the “YASHAT” fund within the framework of the support program for the Second Karabakh war, and assistance to people affected by the earthquake in Turkey in 2023.

Mammadov Mammad Isa oglu, member of the Presidium of the United Trade Union of Scientific Organizations of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Department Heads of the Institute of Botany Doctors of Biological Sciences Dilzara Aghayeva and Naiba Mehdiyeva, PhD in Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Aladdin Gadimov, and Doctor of Philosophy in Biology, Nigar Mursal gizi, scientific secretary of the Institute shared their thoughts and made proposals.

Speaking at the end, the General Director of the Institute, Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva, said that the report of the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee, Shakar Mukhtarova, was satisfactory and that the team positively evaluated her work.

In the end, PhD in biology, associate professor Shakar Mukhtarorva was re-elected as the chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Botany through voting.

At the meeting, the new composition of the Trade Union Committee of the Institute of Botany and the Inspection Commission was formed, representatives were elected.
